D.H Lawrence

I don't know much about this guy, other than that I really like his ideas...and that he wrote Lady Chatterley's Lover - but I found myself in awe of this recent mash-up adaptation of Women in Love and The Rainbow... some of the ideas floating around really struck me. Has a man written females so well, ever?

Must look into Mr. Lawrence:

Self Pity
I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.
